Nitin Bhatia MD
Dr. Nitin Bhatia, a fellowship trained spine surgeon, serves as Director of the Spine Center and Chief of the Spinal Surgery Service in the department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Califoria, Irvine. Non-surgical treatments are utilized primarily, but when surgery is necessary, Dr. Bhatia uses state of the art techniques including miminally invasive surgery, endoscopic discectomy, percutaneous fusions, X-stop stenosis surgery, and kyphoplasty to cure his patients' problems. Dr. Bhatia has been featured in the television show "Guardian Angels, MD" seen nationwide on The Learning Channel (TLC) as well as programs on PBS. The Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI) provides high quality orthopedic care and serves as a leading educator of orthopedic surgery technique to surgeons around the world.
