The British Wheelchair Sports Foundation is the national organisation for wheelchair sport in the UK and exists to provide, promote and develop opportunities for men, women and children with disabilities to participate in recreational and competitive wheelchair sport.

LifeNet is also a non-profit, federally-designated, Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) located in the United States, providing donation systems for heart, liver, kidney, pancreas, lung, and other organs for transplant. LifeNet was founded in 1982 to address the need for human organs and tissues for transplant.
